700 Alpha 1 Hunter, 6.5Creedmoor

Remington 700 Alpha 1 Hunter is a modern bolt-action hunting rifle based on the Remington 700 platform. The Alpha 1 Hunter combines the traditional design with a range of modern features, including a round receiver, fluted 5R barrel, threaded muzzle, precision-ground recoil lug and Elite Hunter Timney straight trigger. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, the rifle features a 22" (55.9 cm) black-finished barrel with a 1:8 twist rate. Overall length is 41.75" (106 cm) and weight is 7.4 lb (3.35 kg).

The rifle features a one-piece spiral-fluted bolt body with a changeable bolt handle and a sleek external bolt release located on the left side of the receiver. The receiver incorporates an enlarged ejection port and a precision-ground recoil lug, while the firing pin assembly can be disassembled without tools. The muzzle features an 11-degree target crown and a 5/8"-24 thread suitable for this caliber. A Picatinny rail mount with 8-40 scope mounting screws is included for mounting optics.

A 3 lb (approximately 1.36 kg) Elite Hunter Timney straight trigger provides a crisp trigger pull. The gray AG Composite carbon fiber stock is fitted with a Pachmayr recoil pad for improved recoil absorption. An aluminum Oberndorf-style trigger guard complements the rifle's construction. The internal magazine box is extended to accommodate cartridges with longer case lengths.
