Archon Type B pistol, manufactured by Czech company Archon Firearms, is known for its exceptional accuracy, minimal muzzle rise, and excellent controllability during rapid fire. It features the unique AF-Speedlock system, which eliminates vertical barrel movement during cycling. The barrel only moves rearward in a straight line by a few millimeters, resulting in a very low bore axis (approx. 12 mm), significantly reducing recoil and allowing faster follow-up shots.
The pistol uses a striker-fired mechanism, a nitrided steel slide, and a modular polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps. Enhanced handling is provided by an extended beavertail, flared magazine well, and reversible magazine release.
Front and rear slide serrations aid in manipulation, and a striker status indicator shows when the pistol is cocked. The flat-faced trigger offers a short reset and a pull weight of 5 lbs (2.27 kg).
This model is Optics Ready (OR), it has slide cut for mounting RMR red dot sights.
The pistol comes with two 16-round magazines, two 19-round magazines, modular grip adjustment set, and a soft transport case.
