Heckler & Koch P30SK-V3 is a subcompact semi-automatic pistol based on the proven P30 platform, designed primarily for everyday carry (EDC) while retaining the full functionality of a duty-grade handgun. The P30SK represents the smallest variant of the P30 family, offering the same mechanical design in a more compact and concealable form.
The pistol is chambered in 9 mm Luger and, in the V3 configuration, features a traditional SA/DA trigger system with an external hammer and a decocking function. Safety features include a firing pin block and a loaded chamber indicator located on the right side of the slide. The magazine capacity is 15 rounds, which is exceptional for a subcompact handgun.
The barrel length is 83 mm (3.3") and features polygonal rifling, which enhances muzzle velocity, simplifies maintenance, and extends barrel service life. The barrel is housed within a steel slide, and the pistol employs a classic Browning-type locking system characteristic of the P30 series.
The frame is constructed from kevlar-reinforced polymer, providing high durability while maintaining favorable weight characteristics. The unloaded weight of the pistol is 757 g. All major controls are fully ambidextrous, ensuring comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed shooters.
The pistol is equipped with open sights featuring high-contrast dots, allowing fast and accurate target acquisition even in low-light conditions. Thanks to its excellent balance, compact dimensions, and proven reliability, the P30 series has already been adopted by several European law-enforcement agencies.
