The Heckler & Koch SFP9 SK OR is a subcompact semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry, combining compact dimensions with modern features and red dot compatibility. The OR (Optics Ready) version includes an interface for mounting MRDS optics, significantly expanding its versatility beyond standard EDC use.
The pistol is chambered in 9 × 19 mm and operates on a short recoil system with a modified Browning locking mechanism. It features a Single Action (SA) trigger with a trigger pull of 22 + 5 N, a short 6 mm trigger travel, and a very short 3 mm reset, enabling fast and precise shooting. Magazine capacity is 12 / 15 / 17 rounds, with compatibility across P30/SFP9 magazines.
The 86 mm barrel is made of cold hammer-forged special steel with a polygonal bore, ensuring durability and consistent performance. The pistol has an overall length of 168 mm, height 116 mm, width 33 mm, and a sight radius of 145 mm. The unloaded weight is 620 g, making it highly manageable for everyday carry. Muzzle velocity reaches approximately 345 m/s, with energy up to 480 J.
The fully pre-cocked striker system delivers energy comparable to hammer-fired pistols and is complemented by trigger, firing pin, and disassembly safeties. A firing pin cocking indicator at the rear of the slide provides clear status feedback.
Ergonomics are a key strength of the platform. The grip features interchangeable side panels and backstraps, offering up to 27 configurations for optimal fit. Thanks to the Optics Ready slide, red dot optics can be easily mounted using adapter plates, which are not included in the package with this model variant. A MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail is included for accessories.
