The rifle is chambered in 5.56×45 mm NATO (.223 Remington) and operates via a semi-automatic, mid-length gas system, providing smoother cycling, reduced recoil impulse, and improved component longevity compared to traditional carbine-length systems. It features a 16" (406 mm) 4150 CMV steel barrel with a QPQ nitride finish and a 1:7 twist rate, ensuring excellent durability and reliable stabilization across a wide range of ammunition. M4 feed ramps further enhance feeding reliability.
The muzzle is equipped with a standard A2 flash hider threaded 1/2×28, allowing compatibility with a variety of muzzle devices.
