The CZ 1012 G2 semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12/76 represents a modern platform designed with a strong emphasis on maximum operational reliability, simplified maintenance, and comfortable handling for both sporting and hunting applications. The foundation of the design is a refined gasless inertia-operated action that eliminates the need for a conventional gas system while significantly reducing fouling and maintenance requirements. The result is stable and dependable operation even during prolonged intensive use, as demonstrated by an internal endurance test involving 5,000 rounds fired without cleaning or lubrication and without a single malfunction.
The shotgun is equipped with a 710 mm (28") barrel and is supplied with a set of five interchangeable choke tubes, allowing the shooter to tailor shot patterns to specific shooting disciplines and conditions. Magazine capacity is 4 rounds, while the controls were designed with a focus on intuitive operation, including a reversible safety suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The trigger mechanism features an approximate pull weight of 20 N and delivers a consistent trigger break that supports confident control during rapid follow-up shots.
Both the stock and forend are manufactured from Turkish walnut with a lacquered finish that enhances the shotgun’s traditional appearance while also improving resistance to everyday wear. Ergonomics are further supported by an integrated cheekpiece and a 355 mm length of pull, contributing to a natural and stable shoulder mount. The shotgun has an overall length of 1285 mm and weighs 3.5 kg, providing a balanced combination of stability, handling, and shooting comfort during extended use.
The package also includes a durable polymer transport case designed for safe transportation and storage of the firearm.
