The CZ BOBWHITE G2 shotgun represents a modern interpretation of the traditional side-by-side double-barrel shotgun, combining classic hunting gun design with contemporary manufacturing technology and improved durability. The model retains the elegant lines and intuitive handling typical of traditional field shotguns while benefiting from modern production methods and upgraded internal components that enhance reliability and service life.
At the heart of the firearm is a slim receiver manufactured using precise CNC machining, allowing tight tolerances and optimized weight distribution. The metal surfaces are protected by a hard black chrome finish, which provides significantly greater resistance to corrosion and wear compared to conventional blued finishes, making the shotgun well suited for demanding field conditions.
The shotgun features a double-trigger mechanism, with a separate trigger for each barrel. This traditional arrangement allows the shooter to instantly select which barrel to fire without the need for a barrel selector, ensuring fast and intuitive operation. The design is complemented by an English-style straight grip stock, which enables quick and natural movement between the two triggers and supports instinctive shooting.
The firearm is chambered for 12/76, allowing the use of a wide range of modern shotgun cartridges. The barrels measure 28 inches (710 mm) in length and are threaded for interchangeable internal choke tubes, giving the shooter flexibility in adapting the shotgun to different shooting disciplines and hunting situations. The standard package includes five choke tubes, covering constrictions from cylinder to full. The extraction system uses extractors, which reliably lift the spent shells from the chambers when the action is opened.
The stock is crafted from quality walnut wood with a lacquered finish, highlighting the natural grain of the wood while providing protection against moisture and mechanical wear. The stock follows a classic configuration without a cheekpiece, consistent with the traditional English shotgun style. A length of pull of 355 mm ensures comfortable and natural shouldering for most shooters.
The shotgun has an overall length of 1140 mm and weighs approximately 2.9 kg, offering balanced handling and comfortable carry during hunting or sporting use. The firearm has a capacity of 2 rounds, one in each barrel. Trigger pull is set at approximately 19 N for the first trigger and 18 N for the second trigger, contributing to smooth and controlled operation.
The package includes a set of five interchangeable choke tubes as well as a polymer transport case, allowing safe storage and convenient transportation of the shotgun and its accessories.
