The SXP DEFENDER HIGH CAPACITY 12M is a 12/76 pump-action shotgun built on the Super X Pump (SXP) platform. The design combines increased magazine capacity, compact dimensions, and proven engineering features characteristic of the SXP series.
The shotgun is equipped with a 510 mm (20") steel barrel. Both the chamber and bore are chrome plated to improve resistance to wear and corrosion while simplifying maintenance. The barrel utilizes a fixed Cylinder choke and features a matte blued finish. A brass bead front sight is fitted at the muzzle for aiming.
The receiver is manufactured from aluminum alloy and paired with a black composite stock and forend. The ambidextrous pistol-grip stock is fitted with an Inflex I recoil pad designed to help reduce perceived recoil. The shotgun does not incorporate an adjustable stock or integrated rear sight.
The action utilizes dual steel action bars and a four-lug rotary bolt that provides secure lock-up. Additional features include a reversible crossbolt safety, Speed-Plug System, drop-out trigger group, and other components characteristic of the SXP platform.
The shotgun is equipped with a tubular magazine offering a 5+1 round capacity. Weight is approximately 3.1 kg, providing balanced handling characteristics during operation.
