The SXP XTREM DEFENDER ADJUSTABLE 12M is a 12/76 pump-action shotgun built on the Super X Pump (SXP) platform. The design incorporates features focused on ergonomic adjustability, expanded sighting options, and compatibility with optical aiming devices.
The shotgun features a 460 mm (18.1") barrel with a standard bore profile and a matte finish. The barrel utilizes the Invector Plus™ choke system and is fitted with a Door Breacher choke. Both the chamber and bore are chrome plated to improve resistance to wear and corrosion while simplifying maintenance.
The receiver is manufactured from aluminum alloy and paired with a black composite stock and forend. A key feature of the model is its tactical pistol-grip stock with adjustable length and an adjustable cheekpiece, allowing the shooter to tailor head position for use with both iron sights and optics.
The shotgun is equipped with a Picatinny rail for mounting compatible optics and accessories. Sighting equipment consists of a steel blade front sight and a Ghost Ring rear sight, providing a clear and rapid sight picture.
The action utilizes dual steel action bars and a four-lug rotary bolt that provides secure lock-up. The design also incorporates a drop-out trigger group and other features characteristic of the SXP platform. Ammunition is fed from a tubular magazine with a 5+1 round capacity.
