The Daniel Defense Delta 5 chambered in .308 Winchester is a precise and reliable bolt-action rifle designed for professional marksmen and demanding sport shooters. It features a 20-inch Heavy Palma cold hammer forged barrel. The modular barrel-nut design allows for quick barrel changes without the need for a gunsmith. The bolt has three locking lugs with a 60-degree throw and is housed in a stainless steel receiver block with an integrated recoil lug, ensuring maximum rigidity and consistent bolt positioning.

The Timney Elite Hunter trigger offers a crisp, single-stage pull adjustable between approximately 0.68 and 1.8 kilograms, providing precise and confident shot control. The ergonomic stock is fully adjustable for length of pull, cheek height, and vertical buttpad position to maximize shooter comfort. The M-LOK handguard allows mounting a wide range of accessories, while the 20 MOA Picatinny rail provides an optimal optic mounting angle for long-range shooting.

The rifle comes with a five-round Magpul PMAG polymer magazine compatible with the AICS pattern and is housed in a durable Daniel Defense Full-Latch Impact plastic case. The overall length measures 101.6 cm with muzzle device installed, and the rifle weighs 4.04 kg.
