The Daniel Defense Delta 5 PRO chambered in .308 Winchester with a 16‑inch Varmint contour barrel finished in Cerakote is a compact and precision-engineered bolt-action rifle designed for shooters demanding rapid follow-up shots and consistent accuracy. The cold‑hammer forged barrel, Cerakote‑coated for corrosion resistance, mates to an integral muzzle thread (5/8×24) and is fitted with an Area 419 Hellfire muzzle brake to greatly reduce recoil and muzzle rise. The rifle’s modular, barrel-nut design allows the user to swap barrels or calibers quickly without a gunsmith, while maintaining the factory-guaranteed sub‑half MOA precision.

The bolt features three locking lugs with a 60‑degree throw and a floating bolt head to ensure smooth, reliable cycling, all housed in a mechanically bedded stainless steel receiver block with an integrated recoil lug. Enhanced control is provided by the two‑position single-stage Timney Elite Hunter trigger, adjustable between approximately 0.68 and 1.80 kg pull weight.

The rigid aluminum chassis features a 20 MOA Picatinny scope base and a full-length ARCA Lock rail along the bottom for direct attachment of bipods or accessories. M‑LOK slots on the forend and ten QD sling attachment points support versatile accessory mounting and carry options. A sculpted thumb rest accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters, while the AR‑15 style pistol grip ensures ergonomic handling under all conditions. A fixed barrier stop ahead of the magazine well allows the shooter to brace the rifle against a solid surface for enhanced stability. The rifle is delivered with a ten‑round Magpul PMAG AICS-pattern magazine. Overall length is approximately 93 cm and weight is around 5.2 kg without accessories.
