Remington 700 Magpul is a bolt-action rifle primarily designed for sport shooting, combining the proven Remington 700 platform with a modern MAGPUL stock. Chambered in .308 Win, the rifle features a 22" (56 cm) barrel with five grooves and a 1:10 twist rate. The modern design and substantial MAGPUL polymer stock with internal bedding provide a stable platform for accurate shooting at longer distances.

The barrel features a threaded muzzle for mounting a suppressor. The magazine has a capacity of 5 rounds in .308 Win. The MAGPUL stock contributes to comfort and stability during shooting while giving the rifle a distinctive modern appearance.

The rifle is equipped with an adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger, which is used on most rifles in the Remington 700 family. The trigger pull can be adjusted from 1.25 to 2.25 kg (3–5 lb / 12.5–22.5 N), allowing the trigger characteristics to be adapted to the shooter's individual requirements.
