Remington 783 Black is a bolt-action rifle built on more than fifty years of Remington experience in bolt-action firearm design. The Model 783 is designed as an accessible hunting rifle for a wide range of hunters, combining a durable construction with features focused on accuracy. It is equipped with a 22" (55.9 cm) barrel and a black synthetic stock with a high nylon-fiber content, providing excellent strength and rigidity.

For precise shot control, the rifle features the user-adjustable CrossFire™ trigger system. The Model 783 uses a steel detachable magazine with a steel floorplate, offering a capacity of 4+1 rounds in standard calibers, while magnum calibers use a 3-round magazine. This model 783 Black is in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. The rifle weighs 3.3 kg without a scope.
