The Savage Arms 110 Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor is a versatile, all‑purpose hunting rifle engineered to perform in any environment and to suit virtually any shooter. Its foundation is a gray synthetic stock with a matte finish, enhanced by soft‑grip overmold panels on both the forend and the pistol‑grip area to ensure secure handling in cold, wet, or gloved conditions. The redesigned ergonomics of the new 110 platform promote natural pointability and improved control. With an overall length of 44.5" (113.03 cm) and a weight of 7.55 lb (3.42 kg), the rifle offers stable handling without becoming cumbersome over long days in the field.
A key feature of the 110 Hunter is the AccuFit™ system, which allows shooters to tailor the rifle’s fit precisely through adjustable comb height and a customizable length of pull ranging from 12.75" (32.39 cm) to 13.75" (34.93 cm). This system works together with the rigid AccuStock™, a full‑length bedding design that secures the action along all three axes for exceptional shot‑to‑shot consistency. The AccuTrigger® provides a crisp and clean break, adjustable between 2.5 and 6 pounds, allowing the shooter to fine‑tune trigger characteristics to personal preference. The rifle uses a right‑handed bolt‑action system with a bottom bolt release, feeding from a detachable box magazine with a 4‑round capacity and an ambidextrous magazine release for straightforward operation.
The 110 Hunter is equipped with a 24" (60.96 cm) sporter‑contour carbon‑steel barrel finished in matte black. Manufactured using precise button rifling, the barrel delivers excellent accuracy on big‑game species ranging from pronghorn to elk. The barrel has a 1:8" twist rate, is non‑threaded, and the rifle does not include a factory‑mounted optic. The carbon‑steel receiver shares the same matte black finish and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, giving hunters full freedom in selecting and installing their preferred optic. The fixed synthetic stock incorporates a recoil pad with spacer system for fine adjustment and comfort during extended shooting sessions.
Combining modern adaptability, proven accuracy, and practical hunting ergonomics, the Savage 110 Hunter provides custom‑rifle fit and performance straight out of the box, making it a highly capable choice for big‑game hunting.
