The CZ 457 CARBON is a modern high-performance rimfire rifle that combines maximum accuracy, extremely low weight, and an innovative carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel design. Building on the proven CZ 457 platform, it introduces a unique composite barrel solution that merges the properties of steel and carbon fiber into a single advanced structure.
At its core is an ultra-lightweight 525 mm (20") MATCH-chambered barrel, which retains the characteristics of heavy varmint barrels, delivering excellent stability and consistent accuracy while significantly reducing weight. The barrel is fluted and chambered in .22 LR, featuring a 1:16 twist rate and six grooves, and is capable of accuracy up to 1 MOA. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×20 for accessory mounting.
The key innovation is the composite barrel wrapped in carbon fiber, which reduces overall weight while increasing rigidity and thermal stability. Thanks to this technology, the CZ 457 CARBON, weighing approximately 2.15 kg, is the lightest model in the CZ 457 series while still maintaining full match-grade accuracy and performance.
The stock is made from polymer reinforced with fiberglass and finished with a soft-touch coating, ensuring a secure and comfortable grip even in demanding conditions. The design without a cheekpiece and the length of pull (LOP 355 mm) contribute to versatile and comfortable handling.
The single-stage adjustable trigger has a pull weight of approximately 11–14 N, allowing precise tuning according to shooter preference. The CZ 457 platform also enables user-friendly barrel and caliber changes, further enhancing system versatility. The detachable magazine holds 5 rounds, and the rifle delivers accuracy up to 1 MOA.
With an overall length of 977 mm, the CZ 457 CARBON represents a premium combination of ultra-low weight, modern materials, and precision engineering, designed for shooters who demand maximum mobility without compromising accuracy.
