The CZ 457 MDT chambered in .22 LR is a premium precision rimfire rifle developed in cooperation with the renowned Canadian company MDT for shooters seeking maximum accuracy, modularity, and modern ergonomics. The proven CZ 457 platform, offering 1 MOA accuracy, is paired with an MDT aluminum chassis that provides exceptional rigidity, outstanding ergonomics, and a stable shooting platform for precision shooting at medium and long distances.
The rifle features a heavy, cold hammer-forged, fluted barrel with a MATCH chamber measuring 20" (525 mm). The barrel is threaded 1/2"x20 and comes factory-equipped with a compensator to reduce muzzle movement and improve shooting stability. Its 1:16 twist rate with six grooves delivers outstanding accuracy and consistent performance.
The fully adjustable single-stage trigger offers a pull weight of 11.1–14 N, allowing shooters to fine-tune the trigger to their individual preferences. As with all rifles in the CZ 457 series, the barrel and caliber can be easily changed by the user.
The MDT aluminum chassis is finished in durable Cerakote and features an adjustable cheekpiece. The 355 mm length of pull can be customized using four buttpad spacers, allowing the rifle to be tailored to the shooter. A 25 MOA Picatinny rail is included for easy optic mounting and simplified zeroing at extended distances.
The rifle feeds from a detachable 5-round magazine, is supplied without iron sights, and is ready for optics installation. With an overall length of 1010 mm and a weight of 3.4 kg, the CZ 457 MDT offers excellent stability and handling for demanding precision shooting applications.
