The CZ 457 ROYAL chambered in .22 LR is an elegant rimfire rifle that pays tribute to the traditional sporting rifles of Česká zbrojovka. The cold hammer-forged lightweight barrel measures 20" (525 mm) and features a 1/2"x20 UNF threaded muzzle for the installation of muzzle accessories. Its 1:16 twist rate with six grooves delivers excellent accuracy and reliable bullet stabilization. The fully adjustable single-stage trigger offers a pull weight of 11.1–14 N, allowing shooters to tailor the trigger characteristics to their personal preferences. Like all rifles in the CZ 457 series, the ROYAL also features a user-friendly barrel and caliber interchange system.

The premium walnut stock with an oil finish is fitted with a cheekpiece and an elegant fore-end tip made from a noble decorative material, emphasizing the rifle's classic appearance. Its ergonomic design and 360 mm length of pull provide a natural and comfortable shooting position. In .22 LR, the rifle is equipped with a detachable 5-round all-steel magazine, the same type used in CZ's premium rimfire models.
