The CZ 457 SCOUT chambered in .22 LR is a compact rimfire rifle designed primarily for young and beginner shooters. Its shortened stock, lightweight construction, and easy handling make it an excellent choice for learning safe firearm handling and developing accurate shooting skills. Built on the proven CZ 457 modular platform, the rifle can easily adapt to the shooter's future needs.
The cold hammer-forged lightweight barrel measures 16" (412.5 mm) and features a 1/2"x20 UNF threaded muzzle for the installation of muzzle accessories. With a 1:16 twist rate and six grooves, it delivers excellent accuracy and long service life. The rifle is equipped with a fully adjustable single-stage trigger with a pull weight of 11.1–14 N, allowing it to be tailored to individual preferences. Like all CZ 457 models, it also features a user-friendly barrel and caliber interchange system.
The lacquered beechwood stock features a shortened 310 mm length of pull, making it well suited for smaller-framed shooters while providing a comfortable and secure shooting position. Weighing only 2.35 kg, the rifle is easy to handle during extended practice sessions and offers excellent maneuverability.
The rifle comes equipped with iron sights consisting of a front sight and rear sight, allowing it to be used immediately without additional optics. It feeds from a detachable 5-round magazine, while its overall length of 825 mm makes the CZ 457 SCOUT an ideal choice for training, recreational shooting, and introducing new shooters to the sport.
