The CZ 457 THUMBHOLE combines modern ergonomics, distinctive styling, and excellent accuracy. The defining feature of this rimfire rifle is its thumbhole stock made from highly durable gray‑brown laminated wood, providing a natural and stable grip during shooting. The sophisticated stock design allows comfortable handling for both right‑ and left‑handed shooters, while one of its unique design elements is the integrated trigger guard.
The laminated stock features a lacquered finish and includes a raised cheekpiece, helping the shooter achieve a consistent head position when using optical sights. The length of pull (LOP) of 355 mm ensures a comfortable shooting position during extended shooting sessions.
The rifle is fitted with a heavy cold hammer‑forged barrel measuring 525 mm (20") in length and chambered in .17 HMR, featuring a 1:9 twist rate and six grooves for excellent projectile stability and precision. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×20 and the rifle comes equipped with a compensator, helping reduce muzzle rise during firing. The receiver is also equipped with the proven 11 mm CZ dovetail rail for mounting optical sights.
