The CZ 457 TRAINING RIFLE XII chambered in .22 LR is a classic training rimfire rifle designed for both beginner and experienced shooters. Built on the proven CZ 457 platform, it offers enhanced safety, improved accuracy, and long service life. Its traditional design, long barrel, and iron sights make it an excellent choice for marksmanship training, target shooting, and recreational use.
The cold hammer-forged lightweight barrel measures 25" (630 mm) and features a 1/2"x20 UNF threaded muzzle for the installation of muzzle accessories. Its 1:16 twist rate with six grooves ensures excellent accuracy and reliable bullet stabilization. The fully adjustable single-stage trigger offers a pull weight of 11.1–14 N, allowing shooters to tailor the trigger to their personal preferences. Like all rifles in the CZ 457 series, it also features a user-friendly barrel and caliber interchange system.
The lacquered beechwood stock with a 360 mm length of pull provides a comfortable and secure shooting position from a variety of firing positions. Combined with the rifle's 3.1 kg weight and long barrel, it offers excellent balance and stability, making it particularly well suited for developing proper shooting technique.
The rifle is equipped with iron sights consisting of a front sight and an adjustable tangent rear sight, allowing precise aiming at various distances. A detachable 5-round magazine and an overall length of 1085 mm complete this traditional training rifle, making it an ideal choice for target shooting and structured marksmanship training.
