The CZ 457 VARMINT MTR chambered in .22 LR is a premium precision rimfire rifle designed for shooters who demand maximum accuracy in target shooting. It combines a heavy MATCH-chambered varmint barrel with a specially designed premium walnut stock. Thanks to these features and the refinements of the CZ 457 platform, the rifle delivers a factory-guaranteed 15 mm group at 50 meters.

The cold hammer-forged 20" (525 mm) varmint barrel features a MATCH chamber and a 1/2"x20 UNF threaded muzzle for the installation of muzzle accessories. Its 1:16 twist rate with six grooves provides outstanding bullet stabilization and exceptional consistency during extended shooting sessions. The fully adjustable single-stage trigger offers a pull weight of 11.1–14 N, allowing shooters to fine-tune the trigger to their individual preferences.

The premium walnut stock with an oil finish has been designed to provide maximum stability when shooting from a rest. Its ergonomic shape promotes a secure grip and a natural shooting position, while the 350 mm length of pull accommodates a wide range of shooters. Combined with the rifle's 3.7 kg weight and heavy barrel, the design delivers excellent stability and outstanding shot-to-shot consistency.

The rifle is supplied without iron sights and is intended primarily for use with a riflescope. A detachable 5-round magazine and an overall length of 976 mm complete a precision-focused platform ideally suited for target shooting and demanding recreational use.
