MAUSER M15 Tac Ops US Tan in .22 LR is a tactical semi-automatic rimfire rifle manufactured by German Sport Guns (GSG) under the Mauser brand. Compared to the standard M15 configuration, this variant is distinguished primarily by its 12" (300 mm) shortened barrel, a different stock system and a modernized interface for mounting accessories. The rifle is designed as a compact full-size rimfire platform with a distinctive tactical appearance.
The receiver consists of CNC-machined aluminum upper and lower sections, while the lower trigger housing is made from high-strength polymer. The rifle uses a semi-automatic action and an adjustable trigger with an approximate pull weight of 2.5 kg. The shorter 12" (300 mm) barrel is fitted with a muzzle device in the form of a dummy flash hider, emphasizing the characteristic tactical styling of the model.
One of the main differences compared to the standard M15 is the modern aluminum handguard featuring the M-LOK mounting system, providing attachment points for additional accessories while retaining a full-length Picatinny rail along the top of the rifle. The rail carries removable and folding Flip-Up sights, which can be removed when using an optical sight.
