MAUSER MP40 Standard in .22 LR HV is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle inspired by the iconic German MP40 submachine gun, which was manufactured from 1940 to 1944 by Erma and Steyr. More than one million MP40s were produced during this period, making it one of the most recognizable firearms of its era. This modern rimfire version retains its characteristic appearance and key design elements while using .22 LR HV ammunition for more economical sport and recreational shooting.

The construction combines steel and zinc die-cast components and uses a semi-automatic action with a single-action trigger. The 10" (253 mm) barrel features six grooves with a 1:16" (406 mm) twist rate. Sight radius is 397 mm, while trigger pull is approximately 3.2 kg.

A distinctive feature is the folding shoulder stock, which allows the rifle to be significantly shortened for transportation or storage. Overall length is 825 mm with the stock extended and 605 mm when folded, with a height of 291 mm and width of 79.1 mm. Unloaded weight is approximately 3.26 kg.

The magazine has a 23-round capacity, with a 10-round version also available. The MAUSER MP40 Standard combines the distinctive appearance of the historic MP40 with a modern semi-automatic action and economical .22 LR chambering, making it an interesting option for sport and recreational shooting.
