The revised grip shape better follows the natural anatomy of the hand and is complemented by an extended beavertail backstrap, improving recoil control and shooter comfort. An undercut at the trigger guard allows for a higher grip, while the textured thumb rest for the support hand enhances stability during rapid fire. The updated profile of the front slide serrations improves manipulation, and the enlarged protective rim around the slide stop reduces the risk of unintentional activation while maintaining easy access.
A major innovation of the Gen6 is the new Optic Ready System, designed as a universal solution for mounting red dot sights.
