The 5th generation has the following improvements over previous models:

♦ GLOCK MARKSMAN BARREL - Barrel with an innovative bore
♦ New slide and barrel finish (nDLC) exclusively on Gen5 pistols
♦ Finger molding has been removed from the frame
♦ Widened bottom of the magazine well for more comfortable magazine insertion
