The Glock 17 is a pistol from the Standard series - the basic version of Glock pistols in 9 mm caliber with a polymer frame, it is used as a service weapon and as a weapon for action shooting.

The modular optic system is a pistol configuration that allows the mounting of various optical systems directly onto the pistol slide using different adapters.

The adapter set consists of four numbered variants for the following optical systems:
