The Glock 17 Gen4 pistols now feature a modular backstrap system - G17/22 MBS (Multiple Back-Strap) with a reduced trigger housing (SF - Short Frame). This system allows users to change the grip circumference to accommodate different hand sizes. There are 3 grip sizes available, and swapping them is achieved by simply removing a single pin. Importantly, the grip angle remains consistent across different sizes, ensuring that shooters experience consistent performance whether they change grips or switch to a different Glock pistol.

The magazine release has been enlarged and can be switched from side to side without additional parts, offering enhanced versatility. The recoil spring assembly has been upgraded to a dual recoil spring configuration, significantly reducing recoil and enhancing durability.
