The Glock 47 represents the next step in the evolution of this highly reliable firearm. It combines the compact crossover frame of the Glock 45 with the full-size slide and barrel of the Glock 17. The extended magazine baseplate makes it easier to remove the magazine from the pistol in case of a malfunction or during reloading. Front serrations (FS) on the slide provide a modern look and ensure a secure grip when needed. Additionally, the pistol features the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) with enhanced polygonal rifling for improved accuracy and a loaded chamber indicator, visible through the extractor cutout. The Gen5 magazine release is ambidextrous and extended towards the rear, enhancing ergonomics and allowing for greater flexibility in grip styles. A larger magazine well facilitates faster magazine insertion, which is crucial in time-sensitive situations. The Modular Optic System (MOS) allows for the easy mounting of popular red dot sights, with a wide range of MOS adapters and optics specifically designed for this system available.
