The Heckler & Koch SFP9 SK pistol in 9 mm Luger (9×19) is a subcompact variant of the SFP9 platform designed for concealed carry and everyday use without compromising accuracy, controllability or reliability. The SK (Subcompact) designation reflects its reduced dimensions.
The pistol operates with a fully pre-cocked Single Action striker system, delivering a consistent trigger pull of 22 + 5 N, a short trigger travel of 6 mm, and a very short reset of 3 mm, allowing fast and precise follow-up shots. The striker energy is comparable to hammer-fired pistols, ensuring reliable ignition across a wide range of ammunition. Safety features include trigger, firing pin and disassembly safeties, along with a striker status indicator at the rear of the slide.
The 86 mm (3.4") barrel is made from cold hammer-forged special steel with a polygonal profile and right-hand twist, ensuring durability and accuracy. Muzzle velocity reaches up to 345 m/s, with a muzzle energy of approximately 480 J, which is impressive for a pistol of this size.
The pistol has an overall length of 168 mm, a height of 116 mm, and a width of 33 mm, with a 145 mm sight radius supporting precise aiming. The unloaded weight is 620 g, providing an excellent balance between carry comfort and shooting control. The pistol supports magazines with capacities of 10 rounds, compatible with the P30/SFP9 platform.
Ergonomics remain a key strength even in this compact format. The modular grip system with interchangeable side panels and backstraps allows up to 27 different grip configurations, enhanced by various grip textures for secure handling in all conditions. The low bore axis minimizes muzzle rise and enables fast target reacquisition.
The pistol is equipped with open sights featuring self-illuminating contrast dots, allowing fast target acquisition in low-light conditions. A Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913) is integrated into the frame, with guaranteed function even when accessories up to 160 g are mounted. The design also includes fully ambidextrous controls and tool-free disassembly.
