The KelTec P15 is a compact, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry and personal defense. With its polymer frame, the pistol weighs only 16.2 oz (approximately 459 g) unloaded, making it one of the lightest double-stack 9 mm handguns on the market. Despite its lightweight construction and slim 0.875" profile, it offers a generous magazine capacity of 15+1 rounds, and also comes with a flush-fit 12-round magazine for more discreet carry.
The P15 features a 4" barrel and an overall length 168 mm. It is equipped with a Hi-Viz fiber-optic and tritium front sight and a fully adjustable tritium two-dot rear sight, providing excellent visibility in both daylight and low-light conditions.
For safety, the P15 includes a grip safety and magazine disconnect—both of which can be deactivated using an internal selector, allowing users to tailor the safety features to their personal preferences. The pistol also includes a single-slot Picatinny rail for mounting accessories such as a light or laser.
A key feature of the P15 is its optics-ready slide. The removable polymer plate on top of the slide accommodates popular micro red dot sights like the Shield RMSc or Holosun 507K, expanding its versatility for self-defense or target shooting.
Ergonomics are enhanced with KelTec’s signature “gator grip” texturing, providing a firm and comfortable hold. The controls are ambidextrous, including a reversible magazine release. The trigger pull is smooth and consistent, with a break at approximately 5 pounds (23 N).
