The Kimber 1911 DS Warrior (OR) continues Kimber’s 45-year legacy of building exceptional 1911 pistols in America, now in a modern double-stack, optics-ready configuration. The DS Warrior is engineered for uncompromising performance, combining hand-fitted precision, durable finishing, and enhanced capacity.
Chambered in .38 SUPER, the pistol features a 17-roundand 20-round magazines capacity. The Stainless steel sub-frame is finished in Kimpro Black and has a width of 1.4" (≈ 3.56 cm). The pistol includes an Ambi Safety and an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting lights or accessories. Grip control is provided by a Carbon fiber grip module.
The Stainless steel slide with Kimpro Black finish includes front and rear serrations and an Internal extractor. The pistol ships with a TAG cover plate w/ fixed rear sight and includes a standard C&H RMR optic mounting plate for red dot compatibility. A Night sight front sight is standard.
The 5" (127 mm)Stainless Steel barrel features a Bushing with deep crown for enhanced accuracy and a 1:16 twist (left hand) rifling rate. The recoil system utilizes an 12-pound recoil spring and a Mil-spec guide rod.
The pistol is equipped with the GT Performance Trigger, factory set at approximately 4.0–5.0 pounds (≈ 1.8–2.3 kg). Overall dimensions are overall length: 8.7" (≈ 22.1 cm), height: 5.5" (≈ 14.0 cm), and weight with empty magazine of approximately 935 g.
