The slide features angled serrations for positive manipulation and an integrated Mossberg STS™ Safe Takedown System, allowing the pistol to be disassembled without pulling the trigger, significantly enhancing safety during maintenance. The slide is finished in a durable black DLC coating, which reduces friction and increases wear resistance.
The frame is constructed from high-tensile strength glass-reinforced polymer and incorporates Mossberg’s aggressive grip texturing and pronounced palm swell, ensuring a secure and confident grip under a wide range of conditions. An integrated Picatinny rail at the front of the frame allows for mounting accessories such as weapon lights or lasers.
The pistol is equipped with a 3.9" (99 mm) barrel featuring a 1:16 right-hand twist, optimized for 9 mm ammunition. Sighting is provided by TRUGLO Tritum Pro night sights, suitable for defensive use and rapid target acquisition. A flat-profile trigger contributes to improved trigger control and consistent trigger pull.
The overall length of the pistol is approximately 7.1" (180 mm), with a standard capacity of 15+1 rounds. The MC2c is supplied with two magazines, one 13-round and one 15-round, allowing the user to configure the pistol for either discreet carry or maximum capacity.
