The firearm features a 165 mm (6.5") barrel made from chrome‑moly alloy steel with six grooves and a 1:10" right‑hand twist, providing consistent accuracy and long service life. The heavy‑contour barrel is threaded 1/2"-28 and supplied with a thread protector, allowing the use of common muzzle devices. Overall length is 419 mm (16.5"), with a weight of approximately 2.36 kg (5.2 lb.), ensuring good balance and controllability.
The operating system incorporates a dead‑blow action with a custom tungsten weight, reducing bolt travel, felt recoil, and muzzle rise. The bolt is machined from heat‑treated chrome‑moly steel for strength and durability. The trigger system is derived from proven Ruger 10/22® components, offering a light, crisp trigger pull with minimal overtravel and a positive reset.
The receiver is CNC‑machined from 7075‑T6 aerospace‑grade aluminum, finished with Type III hard‑coat anodizing, and includes an integrated Picatinny rail for optics mounting. The CNC‑milled aluminum handguard is also Type III anodized and features Magpul® M‑LOK® slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, with a factory‑installed handstop at the 6 o’clock position for secure support‑hand placement.
A glass‑filled polymer chassis system allows the use of standard AR‑style pistol grips and incorporates a flared magazine well for faster reloads, along with rear‑mounted QD sling cups. The PC Charger is supplied with interchangeable magazine wells, shipping with the Ruger SR‑Series™ / Security‑9® magazine well installed, and includes an additional well compatible with Glock® magazines. A 17‑round magazine is included.
The takedown design enables quick separation of the barrel/forend assembly from the action for convenient transport and storage without tools. Controls such as the magazine release and charging handle are reversible, supporting both right‑ and left‑handed shooters.
