Built on the proven P320 platform, this model closely follows the specifications of the U.S. military’s issued M17 pistol.
This striker‑fired pistol is chambered in 9×19 mm (9mm Luger) and showcases the modular design that was a decisive factor in its military selection. The stainless steel slide features a Coyote PVD finish, matching the military configuration, and is optic‑ready with the PRO footprint, exactly as specified in the MHS contract. The pistol is equipped with a SIGLITE front night sight and a removable rear night sight plate, allowing direct mounting of a compatible reflex optic.
The frame consists of a Carry‑size polymer grip module finished in Coyote Tan, mirroring the service pistol configuration, and is equipped with a manual safety, standard on this variant. The standard curved trigger delivers a consistent and duty‑oriented trigger pull, designed for reliability under demanding conditions.
The carbon steel barrel measures 4.7" (119 mm) in length, while the pistol’s overall length is 168 mm, width 28 mm, and height 139 mm. With an unloaded weight of approximately 839 g, the P320‑M17 offers excellent balance and controllability. A M1913 Picatinny accessory rail is integrated into the frame for mounting lights or other accessories.
The SIG SAUER P320‑M17 ships with one 17‑round steel magazine and two 21‑round steel magazines, offering a faithful civilian version of the sidearm currently issued to the U.S. Army and other branches of the U.S. Military.
