Building on its reputation for exceptional out‑of‑the‑box accuracy, this model is designed for shooters who demand maximum control in a more compact form factor.
At the core of the design is a DA/SA (Double Action / Single Action) trigger system enhanced by the Short Reset Trigger (SRT). This system retains the smooth operation and inherent safety of the classic SIG SAUER trigger while significantly shortening the reset. The result is faster follow‑up shots, improved shooting rhythm, and precise control during high‑speed firing.
The pistol is equipped with a 3.9" carbon steel barrel, contributing to excellent accuracy and long service life. The balanced combination of a compact barrel and a substantial steel slide ensures smooth recoil characteristics and very good controllability during dynamic shooting.
The P229 Elite features a stainless steel slide with Nitron® finish, which is optics‑ready from the factory, and includes front and rear cocking serrations for confident handling.
