The Taurus 1911 Officer is a compact take on the classic 1911 platform, purpose-built for personal defense and everyday concealed carry. Chambered in .45 ACP with a 6+1 round capacity, it features the shortest barrel in the Taurus 1911 lineup—measuring just 3.5 inches—making it highly maneuverable and easy to carry. With an overall length of 183 mm and an unloaded weight of 992 g, the Officer strikes a balance between firepower and concealability. Both the frame and slide are made of alloy steel with a matte black finish, while the barrel is crafted from stainless steel with a matte stainless coating. The pistol comes equipped with Novak® drift-adjustable sights and checkered black grips for secure handling. Operating in single-action-only (SAO) mode, the pistol also features a firing pin block, grip safety, and manual thumb safety for confident carry.
