Walther Q5 Match Steel Frame Patriot, 9x19 – Strength Forged from Steel: A Unique Pistol from the Legendary German Manufacturer.
The legendary German arms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH presents a special edition of pistols based on the Q5 Match Steel Frame model: this "Special Edition" now includes the Black Tie, Black Diamond, and Patriot variants.
All versions inherit the outstanding qualities of the standard Q5 Match Steel Frame, but add a generous dose of individuality and exclusivity. Thanks to their limited production, they are likely to become highly sought-after collector’s items. At the same time, all top-tier user features of the original model remain fully intact, making these pistols perfectly suitable for regular sport shooting use.
The Walther Q5 Match SF Patriot is a model designed primarily for the U.S. market, as evidenced by the engraving created by Italian engraver Giovanelli, featuring motifs such as the bald eagle, the Statue of Liberty, and the stars and stripes. The surface of the firearm is treated with Walther’s well-known Tenifer finish—a process of nitrogen and carbon diffusion in a special salt bath—which gives the steel extreme surface hardness and corrosion resistance. In this edition, the surface of the slide and engravings are additionally polished to a high gloss.
The pistol is also equipped with special ultra-thin aluminum grip panels that further enhance the already exceptional ergonomics of the Q5 Match SF. It comes with two magazines fitted with aluminum base pads that increase capacity by two rounds, all packaged in a luxurious presentation case.
The Walther Q5 Match SF Patriot is outfitted with a top-tier Dynamic Performance Trigger. The trigger shoe and safety are made from high-quality aluminum alloy, with a flat-faced trigger design. Pre-set from the factory, the take-up and reset provide an exceptionally crisp and responsive feel, while maintaining a high level of passive safety.
