Ruger GP100 is a double-action revolver chambered for .357 Magnum cartridges, built on the proven GP100 platform designed for durability, accuracy, and consistent performance. The frame is made of stainless steel with a satin stainless finish, providing strong corrosion resistance and long service life under repeated use of high-pressure ammunition.
The revolver operates in a double-action mechanism (DA) and features a triple-locking cylinder system, securing the cylinder at the front, rear, and bottom for precise alignment and dependable operation shot after shot. The cold hammer-forged barrel features a 1:18.75" RH twist rate, optimized for .357 Magnum cartridges. A fiber optic front sight combined with an adjustable rear sight ensures fast target acquisition and precise sight regulation. Ergonomics are enhanced by cushioned rubber grips with hardwood inserts, offering a balance of recoil absorption and secure handling.
