Ruger SP101 Match Champion is a double-action revolver chambered for .357 Magnum, designed as a competition-oriented version of the SP101 platform with a focus on accuracy, smooth trigger operation, and fast handling. The construction is based on a stainless steel frame with a high-gloss (gloss stainless) finish, combining durability with a refined, sport-oriented appearance.
The revolver operates in a double-action mechanism (DA) with a standard exposed hammer. A transfer bar safety system provides an enhanced level of protection against accidental discharge.
The barrel measures 4.20" (107 mm), is cold hammer-forged, and features a full-lug design, improving balance and stability during firing. It has a 1:16" RH twist rate, optimized for .357 Magnum ammunition. The sighting system consists of a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, supporting fast and precise target acquisition.
The cylinder has a capacity of 5 rounds and uses a triple-locking system (front, rear, and bottom lock-up) for strong alignment and reliable operation shot after shot.
