Ruger Bearcat Stainless is a compact single-action revolver chambered for .22 LR cartridges, designed in the tradition of classic American percussion and early cartridge revolvers of the 19th century. The one-piece frame made of stainless steel, combined with a satin stainless finish, preserves the historically inspired character, particularly in reference to Remington revolvers from the Civil War era. A distinctive feature is the decorative unfluted cylinder with an engraving of a bear and cougar, enhancing both the visual identity and overall character of the firearm.

Mechanically, the revolver operates in a single-action system with an emphasis on safety and simplicity. It is equipped with a transfer bar safety mechanism which, together with the loading gate interlock, effectively prevents accidental discharge and allows safe carry with all chambers loaded. The cold hammer-forged barrel ensures precise rifling with a 1:16" RH twist rate and long service life. A blade front sight and an integral notch rear sight machined into the frame follow the traditional sighting concept and support intuitive aiming. Ergonomics are complemented by hardwood grips, providing a secure hold while maintaining a classic appearance.

In terms of dimensions, the Ruger Bearcat Stainless features a barrel length of 4.20" (106.7 mm), an overall length of 229 mm, and a cylinder capacity of 6 rounds. The weight is approximately 680 g, contributing to excellent handling characteristics and reduced fatigue during shooting. This variant offers a more corrosion-resistant stainless execution while maintaining the classic Bearcat design identity.
