A patented reverse indexing pawl allows precise cylinder alignment during loading and unloading, while the traditionally beveled cylinder supports smooth holstering. The cold hammer-forged barrel provides precise rifling with a 1:16" RH twist rate, optimized for .45 Colt ammunition. A blade front sight combined with an integral rear sight notch machined into the frame reflects the simple and functional sighting concept typical of this class of revolvers.
