The Walther PDP F-Series 3.5" is a modern semi-automatic pistol in 9 mm Luger caliber designed specifically with the needs of female shooters in mind, who often find standard models unsuitable. The result is a firearm with excellent ergonomics, featuring a grip geometry tailored and optimized for smaller hands and improved handling.
Based on the successful PDP (Performance Duty Pistol) platform, this model incorporates several key design modifications. The grip angle and shortened trigger reach respect the biomechanics of a female hand without compromising functionality. The newly developed trigger and recoil system significantly reduce perceived recoil and allow for fast, smooth follow-up shots.
The pistol is equipped with an 89 mm (3.5") barrel featuring polygonal rifling with a 1:10 twist rate, ensuring excellent accuracy and durability. Overall dimensions are 172 mm length, 136 mm height, 34 mm width, and a weight of approximately 660 g.
The slide features pronounced SuperTerrain serrations both front and rear, providing reliable manipulation even with gloves or in adverse conditions. It comes Optics Ready, allowing for the installation of most common pistol red dot sights after removing the cover plate using available Walther or third-party mounting adapters.
The Performance Duty Trigger offers a very smooth pull, with a trigger pull weight of 25 N and a short 6 mm reset. It is rightly rated as "Best in Class" in its category.
Additional features include adjustable steel sights (both axes), a prism-shaped front sight with a white dot, a Picatinny rail for accessories, and an ambidextrous magazine release that can be swapped for left-handed use.
