Ruger SR1911 Target chambered in 10mm Auto is an all‑metal target pistol built on the classic 1911 platform, designed to deliver high accuracy while fully exploiting the power of the 10mm Auto cartridge. It retains the traditional manual controls and distinctive trigger feel of the original 1911 design, while its robust construction and full‑size configuration make it well suited for demanding target shooting and range use. Standard magazine capacity is 8+1 rounds, consistent with a full‑size 1911 in this caliber.
Both the slide and frame are manufactured from stainless steel and finished in a low‑glare matte stainless, providing excellent corrosion resistance and reduced visual signature. Precision CNC‑controlled machining ensures a tight slide‑to‑frame fit and an exceptionally smooth, refined cycling action. The pistol is equipped with a bushing‑less stainless steel bull barrel measuring 5" (127 mm) with a black finish, adding forward weight at the muzzle to help control the increased recoil of the 10mm Auto cartridge. A full‑length guide rod further contributes to smooth operation and enhanced stability during firing. Positive barrel lock‑up delivers strong out‑of‑the‑box accuracy.
